Laptop Love. [16 Aug 2006|04:17pm]
[ mood | excited ]

So, in about two and a half hours, I will be the proud owner of a MacBook laptop.

I'm getting the 13-inch black 2.0 GHz Intel Core Duo with 1 GB of RAM and a 100 GB hard drive. And I only have to pay about $420 of my $900 from Kutz for it. Mom's picking up the rest!

(And I get a free 1 GB iPod Nano with the purchase of my computer. Cool.)

My MacBook

Isn't it beautiful??

Way to go, Anderson High School! I won a Trustee Award but wasn't notified, so I missed the ceremony.

That's The Pain, Cuts A Straight Line Down Through The Heart; We Called It Love. [12 May 2005|10:11pm]
[ mood | thirsty ]

When the earth was still flat,
And the clouds made of fire,
And mountains stretched up to the sky,
Sometimes higher,
Folks roamed the earth
Like big rolling kegs.
They had two sets of arms.
They had two sets of legs.
They had two faces peering
Out of one giant head
So they could watch all around them
As they talked; while they read.
And they never knew nothing of love.
It was before the origin of love.

And there were three sexes then,
One that looked like two men
Glued up back to back,
Called the children of the sun.
And similar in shape and girth
Were the children of the earth.
They looked like two girls
Rolled up in one.
And the children of the moon
Were like a fork shoved on a spoon.
They were part sun, part earth
Part daughter, part son.

I sketched some scenes from Hedwig and the Angry Inch's "The Origin of Love" for our English skit, and I just thought I'd share. I drew them really fast, but the style was really fun to emulate.

Now the gods grew quite scared of our strength and defiance...Collapse )
